The partnership launched in November with a ‘Salute to Veterans’ special episode highlighting the Missouri full-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. the courageous Tuskegee Airmen of World War II and the D-Day/WWII.
Bad Boy Mowers has also joined the Small Town Big Deal team and an army of sponsors and volunteers to support the nonprofit foundation, Wreaths Across America.
Wreaths Across America TM (WAA) is a national nonprofit organization founded in 2007 to continue and expand the annual wreath-laying ceremony begun by Maine businessman Morrill Worcester in 1992.
The WAA’s mission – Remember, Honor, Teach – is carried out in part by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at veterans’ cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states. Every year since 2008, Congress proclaims a Saturday in December as National Wreaths Across America Day. This year’s theme: Be an American Worth Fighting For.
As part of their ‘Salute to Veterans’, Bad Boy Mowers has joined the WAA Honor Fleet on a mission to Remember, Honor and Teach. Nearly 600 truckloads of wreaths were delivered across the country by hundreds of volunteer professional truck drivers using donated equipment and fuel from approximately 250 carriers including Bad Boy Mowers with their driver, Brad Webb. The annual wreath-laying ceremony this year took place on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020. Bad Boy Mowers completed their maiden voyage with the delivery of wreaths from Maine to North Carolina. Bad Boy Mowers Spokesperson Mallory Lindsay joined Small Town Big Deal Co-Hosts Rodney Miller and Jann Carl, who was at a cemetery in Missouri, to lay honor wreaths on the graves of some of our nation’s bravest. Bad Boy Mowers’ maiden journey and the story of Wreaths Across America will be featured in the Small Town Big Deal, ‘Christmas Across America’ special in 2021.
